To get started with this Ritz mock apple pie recipe, you should first take out a nine inch pie dish, and then insert the bottom of the crust.
Next take out a large saucepan, and then add in the cold bottled water, white superfine sugar, and cream of tartar. Let these contents simmer over medium high heat for fifteen minutes, stirring throughout the process to make sure all of the sugar dissolves. Next remove the saucepan from the stove, and then briskly stir in the fresh squeezed lemon juice and lemon peel.
Moving along, next evenly spread your crushed Ritz crackers over the pie bottom you setup earlier, then pour the cooled sugary mixture over it. Next drop little clumps of softened margarine into the pie filling, then place the top crust layer over the top of it, fluting the edges so that the pie is sealed. Don't forget to make several slits in the top of the pie crust, so that the dessert can breath.
You will then want to cook the pie for half an hour at 425 degrees Fahrenheit, or 218 degrees Celsius. Remove the pie from the oven when the crust becomes golden brown.
Let it cool for several minutes before serving.
