No Sugar Apple Pie

Ingredients:

1 Premade Double Crust Pie Pastry

1 Can Of Thawed Unsweetened Apple Juice Concentrate

6 Cups Of Chopped Skinless Cored Green Apples

3 Tablespoons Of Argo Pure Cornstarch

1 Tablespoon Of Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

1 Tablespoon Of Apple Pie Spice

Preparation Instructions:

I would like to thank Kim from Dallas, Texas for emailing us this superb no sugar apple pie recipe.

To begin please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius.

Next take out a small mixing bowl and then add in the Argo pure cornstarch, apple pie spice, and one third of a cup of thawed unsweetened apple juice concentrate. Mix these ingredients up, then set the bowl aside.

You will next want to take out a large saucepan, and then add in the chopped skinless cored green apples and the remaining portion of the thawed unsweetened apple juice concentrate. Let these contents simmer for ten minutes on medium heat, then stir in the Argo pure cornstarch mixture and fresh squeezed lemon juice. Once your pie filling begins to thicken, remove it from the burner. You are now ready to pour the pie filling into a pie dish lined with the bottom layer of your premade crust. Level the filling out, then top it off with the top layer of the crust, binding and fluting the edges where the dough meets. Don't forget to slice small vents into the top of the pie, so that it can breath.

You are now all clear to bake the pie for forty five minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp.
